MOHRE Online Training (Part 2 - Faculty members)

In preparation for the launch of the Master of Health Research Ethics (MOHRE) program's innovative online and interactive teaching approach on April 27th, 2020, the faculty participated in a second training session held on April 23rd, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM using Microsoft Teams.

Led by our esteemed curriculum advisor, Prof Esther Gnanamalar Sarojini A Daniel, and supported by MOHRE secretariat members Dr. Nishakanthi Gopalan and Dr. Sakinah Ooi, the session focused on equipping faculty with the technical skills needed to excel in the new format. This included guidance on crafting effective lesson demonstrations utilizing the "DEMO" (Instructional design & lesson template) framework, as well as troubleshooting common issues with Microsoft Teams and the SpeCTRUM platform. Prior registration and downloading of Microsoft Teams onto desktops were encouraged to ensure a seamless transition for both faculty and students.
